Trisha has been among the
longest survivors when we consider the shelf life of general Tamil
cinema heroines. Since a fleeting appearance in Jodi as Simran’s friend
in 1999, she graduated to playing full-fledged heroine roles with great
success. Mounam Pesiyadhe directed by Ameer was her first film as the
lead heroine. Suriya was her on-screen pair in this memorable romance
flick.Today, it’s exactly 10 years since the release of Mounam Pesiyadhe. So, this marks the 11th year of Trisha’s innings as a lead heroine.
