It was second surprise to the fans of Superstar Rajinikanth in just two days. The first was the 'Thalaivar' meeting them on his birthday on Wednesday.
And the second big surprise came on Thursday night,
when Rajini turned up at a function organised by his fan clubs to
celebrate his 63rd birthday.
The YMCA Grounds at Royapettah saw a huge wave of
happiness when the Superstar entered into the venue. Thousands of his
fans jumped with joy when they saw the matinee idol.
The annual event would normally see the presence of
some popular personalities from film industry, though Rajini would stay
away. "But this time he took part to honour us," says an office-bearer
of Rajini Rasigar Mandram.
